Mbala College of Nursing and Midwifery is a public health institution certified by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia on June 2, 2017, and officially opened on November 4, 2017, by the then Minister of Health, Hon. Dr. Chitalu Chilufya. The college operates under the auspices of Mbala General Hospital, which provides first- and second-level referral services to Mpulungu, Senga, Mungwi, and the surrounding districts.
